My wife and I had a wonderful stay at America’s Cup Inn. Everyone at the inn was very kind and accommodating.
I believe we had the best room in the inn on the upper floor with a view of Thames street and we even had a view of the water. The location of the inn was excellent. It’s in the middle of town so that was very convenient. We felt really comfortable in our room which was nicely renovated.

We highly recommend this Inn. Please book it next time you’re in Newport.

A real Gem among all the choices in Newport

I have been a regular visitor for over 4 years during my daughter’s tenure at Salve This boutique hotel has been meticulously renovated, the staff especially Esteban at the front desk are extremely accommodating. Close to the center of all the action in town. Wonderful European buffet breakfast and afternoon tea included

We loved this hotel, as it was like an old-style guest house. It is older but very quaint with a lovely feel about it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast served in the “dining room” was awesome – it felt like you were in someone’s dining room, as opposed to a hotel, with such a nice feel. And the location – you are literally in the middle of town right near heaps of bars and restaurants and the wharf area. There isn’t a better-located hotel. If you want 5 stars luxury then don’t stay here, but if you want a great hotel at reasonable prices in a super location, then this is for you.

We stayed here the 1st week in October. It was perfect!!! Our room was great, breakfast and cookies and tea were both great, and the inn was in the perfect location. It was in the middle of the historic area and an easy walk to the transportation station for touring the mansions.

This hotel is a great place at a great rate. We stayed in one of the suites which are in a nearby building. The hotel was quiet, the staff friendly. The breakfast was abundant and diverse, a table full of sweets and other more standard breakfast fares. The hotel is right downtown. I would definitely stay here again, maybe even try to get into the main building
